Boredom sucks.

Grrr.

I’m angry because the stoneware pattern I’ve been eyeing for months at Crate and Barrel has been discontinued.  That’ll teach me to wait and wait and wait before buying something I like.

And in the meantime I can’t find another pattern I like.  All the yellow and blue stuff I see is very cheezy.

I also had a dream the other night that it was 2 weeks before the wedding and I had nothing done.  So now I’m freaking out….

Yay!

You go away for a week and they finally finish paving Watertown Square.  And not only do they finish paving it, but they manage to paint in the lane lines and the arrows and everything.  Not that it’s going to do much good, since it’s a free-for-all anyways, but at least they tried.

Now maybe if we go away for a month (or 6 months) they’ll figure out how to fix the Rotary of Death.  Although I’m pretty sure that’s beyond hope.  Stupid Massachusetts where the roads make no sense.

I think we’re doomed without Takeo Spikes.  That, and we need a quarterback who can throw better than 7/15 for a measly 75 yards.  I think Drew Bledsoe and Rob Johnson have cursed us.  If the Red Sox can win the World Series, why can’t the Bills win the Super Bowl?

In San Diego

I’m pretty sure that the easiest job in the world is being a meteorologist for the San Diego area.  I have never heard a weather person apologize more profusely for forecasting a chance of rain.  And it didn’t rain, either.

It’s crazy.

ARGH!

Would somebody PLEASE pave the second half of Watertown Square already?!

Another day, another week.

So it’s Monday again…and another week closer to the wedding.  I haven’t done anything in the way of planning since about July.  I think I’m just avoiding the whole planning part and hoping that somehow it will miraculously work out.  Either that, or I’ll be able to convince Adam to run away and elope.

Everyone seems willing to help on paper, but when it comes down to anyone actually coming to Boston and helping me with, say, picking out bridesmaid dresses, it’s another story.  So it’s looking like I’m either eloping or settling for naked bridesmaids.

Nostalgia

I just downloaded a whole bunch of Michael Jackson songs.  I remember when I was about 6 or 7 Sarah Conte and I made my sister listen to Thriller and then she had nightmares.  I got in trouble for that one.

I had to confess somewhere.

Hmmm.

So…I should be at work writing up some executive report summary or other, but I’ve got a laptop and an Internet connection at home.  Which gives me a chance to write a bunch of crap AND do laundry.  And I don’t even have to get dressed, which is by far the best part.

Now if I could just figure out how to keep the cats from walking across the keyboard….
